Pilobolus Dance Master Class with Pilobolus

Taught by the renowned dancers of Pilobolus, this fun, energetic and challenging master class explores partnering principles, improvisational skills, group collaboration and the psychology of movement.

Training in dance is not required, although a reasonable degree of fitness is advised. Limited to 30 participants.

Stage 2

The star of the Late Nite Catechism comedies at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, actress Patti Hannon creates a playful, supportive atmosphere to try acting through improvisation. Using body movement, storytelling and improvisational games, she teaches how to transform ‘play’ into a performance.

Previous acting experience is not required. Limited to 15 participants.

Participants get ‘on their feet’ at each session, read pages of work in development and offer feedback to their fellow classmates. The workshop culminates in a public reading of short works created in the class.

Suitable for writers/actors of any skill level. Limited to 10 participants.
